Local Voices Liberia operates the Liberia Election Promises Tracker to promote transparency in governance. This page explains what data we collect and how it is used.

What we collect

• Account data — your name, email, and (if provided) avatar when you sign up to comment or rate.
• Engagement — promises you view, like, dislike, comment on, or rate.
• Contact submissions — anything you send through the Contact form, including category and phone (if provided).

How we use it

• To operate the platform: showing your name on comments and counting your reactions.
• To respond to contact submissions you send us.
• To produce aggregate, non-identifying analytics about platform usage.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not share contact-form submissions with politicians or third parties.

Your rights

You can update your name and avatar from your account page, request deletion of your data by contacting us, or delete your own comments at any time.
